This was acknowledged by ByteDance President Zhang Yiming, and the company is said to be increasing AI development on the platform. He revealed that one of the strongest reasons behind the advancement of AI is the development of ChatGPT class chatbots, including Sora AI, a popular text-to-video AI.

To prove that ByteDance prioritizes GenAI development, the company has published 300 job vacancies related to generative AI. Zhang said that recruiting artificial intelligence talents, improving organizational structure and improving basic research are the most important factors for winning the competition in a world full of artificial intelligence.
